On the other hand, it is importance to ensure that the household appliance is safe to be use. Therefore, this project aims to design and develop a web portal for household appliances on energy efficiency and safety testing. It allows the test laboratory to make use of this platform to train their employee and the public to understand the how the energy and electrical safety test were carried out to ensure the safety of the household appliances. The energy efficiency and electrical safety testing of household appliance are based on IEC62552 and IEC60335 test standard respectively. These topics are then display in the web portal. This web portal makes use of web development languages like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL to build the website. To make the content easier to understand, the test conducted is demonstrated in the video. The user can also participate on the quiz and ask question by sending their enquiries through the web portal.
