Since technology is advancing rapidly, many electronics components which have involved in semiconductors device fabrication have also improved quality of the materials. Semiconductor device fabrication is a process used to create the integrated circuits for the electronic devices. Therefore, it is important to study the theory of semiconductor, knowing more about different types of materials conduction behaviours and properties. Besides electronics ceramics, advanced ceramics can be constructed into different everyday technologies to be used in different applications. Furthermore, it is essential to understand on the interaction between light and materials by applying the knowledge of physics and semiconductor. As light-material interactions are the knowledge related to fibre optics technology which can be found in different fields. Different fields include telecommunications, medical and others, making use of laser and fibre optics to enhance the performance of the applications.
