Description
Summary:The purpose of this final year research project is to develop an indoor environmental condition within human comfort level by gathering proper information from Indoor Environment Quality (IEQ) sensor network and to describe human comfort in orderly way. The project is mainly focus on understanding of the physiology of thermoregulation, understand the factors that affect human comfort and the factors that affect energy consumption of HVAC system. Hence, a new air-conditioning can be designed for optimizing the human comfort and its energy efficiency. The report will cover the concept of Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) which is used to determine the human comfort level, and clarify how to implement the model, and also conduct various of experiments to analyze the factors of thermal comfort and energy consumption.
