Summary: | Smartphones and social networks change people's lives, work and the form of interpersonal communication. Online communication become more and more frequently, at the same time, the participation of offline activities and events are insufficient and scarce. Out of the Internet, everyone becomes an island. Without emoticons and pictures, people do not know how to express their feelings and emotions when face-to-face. In this context, this mobile application based social platform provide an opportunity to encourage and help people connect with strangers and participate activities outside. Users can search and join the event in order of his/her preferences. Furthermore, if users enjoy the event and want to trace what other events the event organizer has created or joined, they can follow the event organizer easily. This mobile application was developed using hybrid application technology. Ionic, AngularJS and ThinkPHP are the frameworks used in this final year project. This application can run on both Android and iOS without incurring additional costs. The application development is faster and simpler, easier to maintain compare to native application. After a research on hybrid application technology and consideration of market demand, a hybrid mobile application named LazyEvent was developed to encourage people to enjoy outdoor activities with others instead of staying online and face to the mobile devices alone. |
