However, do these policies necessarily lead to more ‘local’-centric outcomes? To answer this question, this study will compare the outcomes of EU and UN peacebuilding mission through a case study analysis of EU crisis management missions to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Bosnia & Herzegovina and UN missions to Sierra Leone and Timor-Leste.
