OLEDs had shown its vast advantages such as lightweight,better contrast and brightness and faster respone time as compared to LEDs. Higher trends and investment had been down in research OLEDs to serve better application as well. We believe that pyrene unit should be a powerful building block due its cross-conjugated nature.It had been vastly used as it possess interesting electronic structure for potential application in optoelectronic devices. In this experiment, precursor, TM-4C=O had underwent several reaction with reagents to form the target material and can be used in further studies to develop OLEDs. Target material,TM-2O,TM-2S,TM-2Se,TM-2N-CH3 had been formed. The results had been collected via instrument such as FTIR,NMR,HRMS and will be shared further in the section of the report.
