We believe that pyrene unit should be a powerful building block due its cross-conjugated nature.It had been vastly used as it possess interesting electronic structure for potential application in optoelectronic devices. In this experiment, precursor, TM-4C=O had underwent several reaction with reagents to form the target material and can be used in further studies to develop OLEDs. Target material,TM-2O,TM-2S,TM-2Se,TM-2N-CH3 had been formed. The results had been collected via instrument such as FTIR,NMR,HRMS and will be shared further in the section of the report.
