Description
Summary:Carbon dioxide is one of leading cause of global warming and the production of carbon dioxide gas is accelerating with the appearance of mankind with their industrial growth. This has spark the interest in many scientists to find solution to combat the growing global warming issue. This study plans to explore the possibility of using conjugated microporous polymer(CMPs) in the reduction of carbon dioxide gases. The report will consist of the synthesis method of 3 different CMPs, which will be tested with Fourier Infrared Testing to verify the structure of the product, Photoluminescence Spectroscopy to verify the working wavelength and capabilities of the material before testing the product for their carbon dioxide reduction capabilities.
