This report will cover synthesis and characterization of ultrathin Chromium Carbide (Cr23C6). In this project, Cr23C6 was synthesized by using chemical vapor deposition technique. The impacts of precursors selection, ramping time, holding temperature, holding time, and gas flow rate on the sample were examined and analyzed by using different type instruments such as scanning electron microscope (SEM), Raman Spectroscope, atomic force microscope (AFM), and optical microscope.
