Individuals who were unable to enjoy leisure activities feel more nostalgic due to lesser interactions with leisure as compared to the past. This study aims to determine the leisure constraints among Singaporean adults. An in-depth interview was conducted to determine the constraints that limit the participants’ levels of leisure, as well as the type of nostalgia felt based on the and the different classifications from the conceptual model of nostalgia by Cho, Ramshaw, & Norman (2014). A total of nine participants were interviewed and participants were selected through purposeful and snowball sampling simultaneously. Semi-structured questions were crafted along the topics of leisure and nostalgia to gather their past and current experience in leisure. Findings suggest a possibility for the conceptual model of nostalgia to be adapted to leisure activities and, for the identification of four factors that hinder Singaporean adults from engaging in leisure activities.
