With a vast amount of personal information that is displayed on social media, data analysis can be applied to mine such information. This oasis of unique digital information can be used to better understand each individual even on the subconscious level. This can then lead to finely categorised groups through finding and constructing key parameters. Benefits and applications of such information derived through such grouping are numerous. Examples of this are more efficient advertisement targeting, choosing people for the right qualities for the job and improved and specialised communication between people. The objective of this project is to construct an algorithm and model to accurately predict one aspect of intelligence within a person. This project has made the following contributions: 1) Analysed various parameters and their effect in determining one’s Linguistic Intelligence from Twitter. 2) Evaluated different algorithms for model construction with respect to measuring one’s Linguistic Intelligence. 3) Proposed and developed a model to accurately predict one’s Linguistic Intelligence score. 4) Implemented the proposed model into an application that can read in any username input to immediately return the user’s Linguistic Intelligence score.
