Technology can reduce our workload and make our lives better if we know how to utilize them. In some clinics, however, there are still tasks that rely entirely on manual labor. Typically, when a patient visits a clinic, he would be asked to provide his medical history/records either verbally or through a questionnaire given by the clinic. The process is called a pre-consultation. The information is then manually keyed into a computer or being written down on the patient’s medical profile. The procedure may seem simple, but the process has to be repeated for every patient that visits the clinic. This can be inefficient and unproductivity in the long run. The purpose of this project is to change the way a pre-consultation is being performed, by developing an iOS mobile application that can replace the current information gathering and recording process. With the use this app, patients themselves can submit and manage their own medical records on their own.
