To have a more unobstructed view and a better understanding of how the citizens in different cities use this service differently. This paper would focus on the car rental data provided by a P2P car-sharing service provider and using those data to conduct a list of analysis based on time attributes. This research would be able to tell how the number of rents is different from one place to another when in the same time-zones. Alternatively, how the people use the cars on weekdays over weekends. The key contribution of this paper is to present the different usage patterns in various Chinese cities regarding time-based analysis and act as a foundation for future research, policy analysis or business models analysis.
