ESD ionizers are widely used in electrostatic sensitive industry. However, the most common way to control the electrostatic in an area is to mount the ESD ionizers at that locations. Many ionizers must be installed and fixed in the industry clean room which not only lacks mobility but also cost a huge amount in the overall budget. Thus, there is a great need to make the ESD ionizer mobile which can control different areas without fixed installations. By doing this, reduction on huge amount of ionizer equipment cost can be achieved. As a large-scale power supply of 120V or 220V is requested for powering up the industrial ESD ionizer, implementation of the UGV in this project was done based on the simulation purpose. The ESD ionizer is simulated by a cooling fan and controlled by the Arduino UNO microcontroller on the UGV.
