However, factors such as unpalatable taste, texture, and a general lack of positive experience with vegetables, leads to picky eaters and kids with food neophobia rejecting vegetables as part of a balanced diet which is vital for their growth, development and the prevention of chronic diseases. These rejections can result in nutritional deficiencies, impacting children’s cognitive development and unpleasant mealtime routines at home, which might also create negative impact between parents and child. This project aims to increase the consumption of vegetables in children through positive experiences by using fun, attractive character designs with storytelling- a series of books with height chart and song with animation. These will help to instill good food knowledge and concept, influencing their food choices which will improve their diet and cultivate good food habits in future.
