Summary: | Transgressing neighbour’s spaces is among the most sacrosanct rules of social behaviour. As invisible bubbles of space surround an individual, the unexpected overlap makes one feel uneasy. This is more commonly felt in public spaces and as population increases, it is something difficult to avoid. The Meet Mat exemplifies the individual and collaborative spaces in public areas. Allowing users to escape, breathe and rejuvenate while being able to induce working together as an option. The product consists of a mat which can be configured for various purposes and a seat frame to accommodate the busy public while offering an option to meet and collaborate is the hallmark of Meet Mat. |
