This work aims to recognize and document the contributions and milestones of the women movement in an exciting way that will appeal to Singaporean youths today. Using video, graphic design and augmented reality, SGHERSTORY will reveal the many significant watershed moments of the women’s movement in relation to Singapore’s national history that its people are familiar with. It also aims to shine the spotlight on individual women who are instrumental in spearheading the various waves of women’s activism in Singapore.
