Description
Summary:This project is concern with applications of Internet of Things (IOT) to smart living. Buildings energy efficiency is an important issue in modern buildings and it has attracted a significant amount of interest in recent years. A key enabling factor to achieve this goal is to have accurate estimation and tracking of occupants in an indoor environment, perhaps in terms of occupancy levels, so that optimal control of lighting and air-conditioning systems can be effected. The aim of this project is to develop and test the combined and fused estimation and tracking algorithms. The focus is on the development of computational light algorithms so that estimation and tracking can be implemented in resource limited mobile devices such as smartphones.
