Summary: | A large amount of disable people are suffering from action limitation in the world nowadays. Fortunately, patients with some certain diseases like Parkinson's disease could still move their eye ball, which leads to the possibility to help these patients to interact with world by eye ball. A series of researches have been done in human visual system, eye tracking system: many products have been developed in gaze tracking area but not customized for the disabled. To fill this research gap, a complete gaze tracking system has been developed in this project. This system utilized classic research on visual and gaze tracking system as well as technologies in traditional computer vision area. It is composed of PSVR headset embedded with camera for real time image capture and windows software for image processing and human-computer interaction. It is proved that this gaze tracking system works steadily upon wide range of people, internet browsing could be achieved easily with only eyes using this system. Because it is a customized project, it could evolve rapidly and more functions will be added into the system in the future to perfect user experience. |
