For this project, a prototype of silver web portal named EncoreSG was developed as a solution to mitigate the situation. The aim of the web portal is to educate senior citizens on topics such as health, lifestyle, finance, and technology. Interactive media were designed and used to assist them in picking up new skills to stay relevant in society. The development of the web portal included the design (layout, colours, typography) as well as the functionalities (web modules). Over a course of eight months, the web portal was tested repeatedly and enhancements to the features were constantly added. The final iteration was successfully migrated from the local server to the live server.
