MIMO visible light communication system with enhanced performance
Recently, MIMO-OFDM is widely used in wireless communication standards. In several cases, it utilizes higher order modulation technique to increase transmission rate, but on the other hand it leads to being more susceptible to bit error. In this report, 4x4-MIMO-OFDM was implemented and performed a...

In this report, 4x4-MIMO-OFDM was implemented and performed a simulation to evaluate the performance of MIMO-OFDM with QAM technique. This was conducted in simulation environment using Matlab. The result has provided an empirical reference that the transmission performance in terms of bit error rate (BER) is highly influenced by modulation technique, modulation index, transmitter average optical power, location of LEDs and PDs. Furthermore, zero-forcing and minimum mean square error with regards to pre and post coding were used to plot BER against various parameters.
