Temperature sensors are used to measure the temperature of the chilled water in the plant. The reliability and accuracy of the temperature sensors used in the system play an important role in ensuring the performance and efficiency of the Air Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) System. Hence, it is crucial to have an accurate and standardised measurement and verification (M&V) system to monitor the ACMV system in a building. Five experiments are conducted to study the long-term reliability and accuracy of the temperature sensors used. The data collected can be used in developing a standardised M&V system.
