Organic Photovoltaic Devices (OPV) have a more significant prospect for the future over Si solar cells due to their lower production cost, flexibility, the range of applications and lower weight. But lower Power Conversion Efficiency (PCE), and less stability of OPV devices hindering their mass production and a wide range of use. In this FYP using GPVDM (General-purpose Photovoltaic Device Model) software simulations done by changing parameters of OPV device. From the simulation found the optimum values and parameters and decisions made to improve the PCE of OPV devices. Further analysis was done by others also considered in the simulation and decision making.
