Summary:Renewable energy resources have been on demand in persevering the earth. With that, most governments encouraged companies to use less non-energy renewable resources like burning coal to produce electricity. Hence, to produce an electricity using non-renewable resources will be one of the focus for many researchers. The aim of this project is to create a film where the film can act as a power generator. The film will have a thermoelectric characteristic which will be able to absorb heat energy and convert into electrical energy and conduct measurements on how much temperature, voltage and current the film able to absorb. This project requires to do a few experiments and testing to find the suitable amount of PEDOT: PSS or known as poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(4-styrenesulfonate) so that the film will have an appropriate flexibility. Bismuth Antimony Telluride, Bi0.5 Sb 1.5Te3 (BST) will also be added to the film as BST is known to have the thermoelectric components. These experiments and measurements will be conducted in the laboratory. By the end of this project, the amount for the necessary components for PEDOT: PSS and BST will be known in creating the film. From the project also, the measurement for the Seebeck coefficient for the film will be notable.
