Summary:As the world is slowly advancing with technology, mobile phones have slowly become a part of our daily lives. We use it to do simple and basic tasks such as making a phone call or to reply a message, to more complicated yet fulfilling tasks such as taking a photograph and playing online games. Our mobile phones are usually by our side and it is easy to take it out for use, and it is portable for bringing it around. Since it is portable, it is more convenient and efficient to complete any tasks and store any information in the palm of our hands. With that idea in mind, a mobile application can be developed to help the people in need, or to even save lives. Hence, this report presents the planning, design, development and the flow of an Android application created for the Singapore Civil Defence Force. This application digitized their current work process that uses a physical whiteboard. With this application, it is designed so that it can cater to a large number of people and provide them with real-time information, providing them with convenience and efficiency.
