In addition, burning of such resources produces greenhouse gas which contributes to climate change and global warming. As such, alternatives of resources are being explored on. Solar energy being most abundance all year round, it has gained interest in research as alternative to fossil fuels. Solar cell is a device which can convert sunlight to electrical energy through a process called photovoltaic effect. Perovskite solar cells show promising prospect as its power conversion efficiency has increased from 3.8% to 22.1%. In this report, an inorganic perovskite solar cell which uses cesium lead bromide as the absorber layer will be fabricated. |
