Description
Summary:The aim of this project is to design and develop a near-field wireless charging pad for mobile phones that eliminates the need of power adapters with cables when charging up a battery. This charging method provides better product durability (e.g. waterproof and dustproof) for contact-free devices. A universal wireless charging pad consists of various components such as transmitting and receiving coils, an efficient AC-DC rectifier and a power management circuit. Thus, the structure, construction and operation of wireless charging pads will be analyzed and the wireless charging technique explored in this project is magnetic resonance charging between the transmitting and receiving coils.
