Summary: | Technologies such as audience response system (ARS), also known as “Clickers”, have been used to facilitate greater student engagement within a variety of educational settings, especially, in NTU. However, numerous technical issues, such as being unable to post comment or answering to open-ended questions, etc. have limited their more widespread use. With these issues eliminated, the system will be more intuitive. To overcome these limitations, systems that are more flexible have been designed. Since these systems can be used of mobile devices, they have become widely available. ShareTalkZ is well designed and created for lecturers, it allows real time communication with students or public. It also helps with taking attendance and is easy to implement. Lastly, ShareTalkZ will help to make learning easier and faster. The goal of this project is to design and build a web application to be hosted on raspberry Pi. Users will be able to log on to the website, post and like any comments. Meanwhile, it also serves as an attendance marking system, which would allow lecturers to keep track of who attended the class or seminar. |
