Description
Summary:In this thesis, we will be taking a brief look in Higgs mechanism where it grants masses to fundamental particles, as well as, investigating the stability of Higgs vacuum. Both of them have immense e ects and consequences in the theory of particle physics. The Standard Model is the current model that describes three fundamental forces (except gravitational force), and established the spectrum of discovered fundamental particles. However, there are issues in the theory which cripples its competency to rather great extent. Hence, supersymmetrized theories are more favored to be the possible theory of everything. We will be looking into Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model, where it seeks to resolve a key issue of Higgs vacuum stability when considering the effects of radiative corrections, as they are known to cause severe problems in Standard Model. Finally, we will conclude why Minimal Supersymmetric Standard Model may be useful in curing this particular issue.
