Description
Summary:With the growing focuses on wireless charging equipment, magnetic coupling resonant wireless power transmission technology is rapidly developing, and the relevant theory is still evolving. However, it is not widely used in real life and there are many contributing factors. This dissertation focused on the power and data transmission between a transmitter and an implantable system-on-chip. The project has been explored and evaluated through wireless power transmitter and receiver, and then develops a Class-E power amplifier in 130kHz which turns the power output at the most efficiency and also develops a reader circuit to read the information transmission between transmitter and receiver coils. Firstly, the simulation software, Altium Designer and design index are introduced. Then complete the circuit design, including the switch tube selection and the overall circuit simulation. The PCB designing steps are presented in sequence from schematic to layout. The waveform of the voltage of transmitter coil and receiver coil are also presented in this dissertation. Lastly, in this stage of the project, a wireless power transmitter was done. Simulation and test were finished to verify the function. Furthermore, the design of magnetic coupling resonant Class-E power amplifier is applied to the wireless charger system, and the design of the power amplifier can be used in wireless power transmission study.
