Description
Summary:High-speed photography is the practice of the capturing an image of a specific moment in an event that happens in an instant, typically less than a second. In the commercial market of high-speed photography peripherals, there are many devices that are targeted mainly at scenarios which use different types of sensors such as light and sound. The aim of this project is to improve on previous students’ prototype of the current microcontroller board designed by them for high-speed photography. The main focus of this project will be to bring the current prototype of microcontroller board designed by previous students to a PCB board for ease of usage of the board, as well as improve on the current prototype by replacing the current camera connector with a USB Host connector, allowing for more features, such as changing of camera settings, to be added to the camera in the future, as the current connector only allows for image capture. Through the integration of hardware and software on the Android application and the microcontroller board, high-speed photography can achieve better ease of use and made more easily accessible for commercial users.
