However, the manifestation of the types, degree and timing of liberalization had varied from country to country. Against this background, the dissertation aims to study the role and contributions played by foreign commercial banks in the domestic banking sector in four South East Asian countries, namely, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. |
