Utilizing one of the fundamental members of IoT, the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, the project constructs itself with a comprehensive system to conceptualize an impactful way of learning for students. The system models into two distinct components, curriculum development and learner analytics, to complement a productive learning environment. The curriculum development targets preschool students using a simple mathematical questionnaire game which is commonly known as number bonds and includes the inherent elements of gamification, movement, competition and collaboration to further enhance the learning process. The educator dictates the gameplay using an android device controller and concurrently projects the questions to the students through the means of a class display (projector, monitor, etc.). The students can subsequently respond by using the NFC readers to tag the appropriate NFC tag which corresponds to the correct answer of the question displayed. The NFC tags can be scattered throughout the classroom space to allow students’ proactivity in finding for the best solution in the time span of the game round. The learner analytics shifts it focus onto assisting the educators for which it provides informative feedback on students’ performance and allows them to emphasize on improving the curriculum without the need of micro-managing during the class.
