This Final Year Project (FYP) – Cognitive Data Analysis aims to develop SAMMIE that applies cognitive data analysis technology, and this report illustrates the entire processes. First of all, the professors dataset was collected as well as the dataset of the ACM Computing Classification System (CCS). After collection of the datasets, pre-processing was done on the data such as cleaning and transformating it. Lastly, an expertise model was built using Fusion ART for data analysis and used of the professor nomination system. Lastly, there are 45 test cases to exanimate the correctness of the system. Future work or research could be done by applying a more in-depth analysis of professors’ publications and the user queries, advanced usage of Fusion ART, and an excellent design application.
