Summary:The lack of physical activity has led to various illness to Singaporean. To tackle this challenge, the Singapore government encourage people to participate in physical activity by setting up fitness facilities around the neighborhood. However, the utilization rate of those facilities is relatively low. There is a need to have some actions to motivate people to fully utilize it. This project is to develop a mobile exergame, which motivates the people to carry out physical activity by using fitness facilities in the public while enjoying the mobile game at the same time. Online research and field visit have been made to find out the most suitable game that can promote the usage of those facilities. A mobile exergame “Icicle Survivor” has been created at the end of the project.
