Description
Summary:Final Year Project (FYP) is a major module that is required to be completed by all the students in School of Computer Science and Engineering before they can graduate. Faculty staff will be appointed as supervisors to take charge of certain projects or examiners to conduct assessment procedures of a student’s work. Allocation of examiners are being carried out with the use of the FYP Examiner Allocation(FEA) System. The purpose of having this system is to allow faculty to choose their preferred project or area, perform allocation of examiners, calculation of workload and exemptions and display summary of results visualization. The first FEA system was built in the year 2007 but soon the technology obsoleted. A new FEA system has been developed in 2016 and since not all the features was implemented yet therefore the purpose for FYP Examiner Allocation System Improvement – Part 3(SCSE18-0293) is to improve, maintain and implement the remaining features that was not implemented yet. With assistance of the FEA system, it tremendously reduced the amount of effort and time that will be required from the FYP coordinator in allocating the examiners for every new semester.
