Description
Summary:The purpose of this project is to address the issue of tracking digital evidence that is uploaded to the system. It was raised by BAML (Bank of America Merrill Lynch)’s security department. Thus, the aim is to develop a platform to provide the forensic analyst to store and track evidence files when multiple forensic analysts working on the same case. The design methodology is to use Django Web Framework, written in Python programming language to develop the structure and functionalities of the application. As for the layout of the interface, JavaScript and Bootstrap are used to beautify the design. As for the outcome of the application, users can leverage the system to store and organize evidence files, at the same time allowing them to track efficiently by searching or sorting. The interface of the platform is clean and lightweight which allow users to use it intuitively with ease. Future work can be implemented to enhance the application, making it more robust by improving its security elements and adding more features to enable more options for the users to work with.
