In such exhibitions, brochures are used as the main form of advertisement. With the increase in visitorship to these exhibitions, exhibitors must print out more brochures and this causes an increase in the amount of paper wastage. Currently, there are no other means of advertisement offered by the exhibitors for the visitors. Therefore, visitors will need to rely on using brochures to get information from the different exhibitors. The purpose of this project was to review the solutions from previous studies and research on other technologies that can be used to implement a solution to help exhibitors promote themselves to the visitors without the use of brochures. The proposed solution was to develop both a web application and a mobile application that integrates technologies such as Augmented Reality Image Recognition and Ultrasound Recognition for the exhibitors and visitors to use.
