Description
Summary:Final Year Project (FYP) is a requirement for all School of Computer Science and Engineering students in the Bachelor of Computer Science or Bachelor of Computer Engineering program. The students work on their FYP for 2 semesters and then it is assessed and evaluated by their supervisor and an allocated examiner. The allocation of examiner is carried out by the FYP Examiner Allocation System (FEA system). It was first developed in 2007 in order to reduce the tiresome and mundane manual work of assigning examiner duties without timetable clashes and fairly that the FYP coordinator must go through every semester. The old FEA system was replaced by the current FEA system as it was outdated with limitations. Upon porting over to the current FEA system, there is still a need to further improve it. Hence, this project FYP Examiner Allocation System Improvement Part 4 (SCSE18-0292) aims to solve any existing issues, improve the user experience and further facilitates the needs of the FYP coordinator.
