Robotic delivery system : via Bluetooth low energy (BLE) Tags and quick response (QR) code

The Robotic Delivery System is a prototype of a robot system that can assist users, mainly staff of large office complexes, to deliver items, documents or packages efficiently and accurately. Unlike existing products, this system can be implemented and deployed at large indoor environments with a hi...

Unlike existing products, this system can be implemented and deployed at large indoor environments with a high degree of accuracy. The system is able to accurately arrive at its destination using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) SensorTags detection and QR code recognition. Both measures are implemented to ensure correctness and decrease the chances of mistakes during delivery. The Robotic Delivery System also has obstacle avoidance measures to prevent people from harm and damage to the package or the robot itself. The Robotic Delivery System will be developed using the Texas Instruments Robotic System Learning Kit (TI-RSLK) and a Raspberry Pi 3.
