In this report it summarises the author’s progress and learning pointers during his Final Year Project, “Simulations of Interaction between PMDs (Personal Mobility Devices) and Pedestrians” under the supervision of Associate Professor Justin Dauwels.
The author’s project encompasses on the research and development process through conducting on-site survey within NTU campus bus stops which will be covered in Chapter 3. After which, the author would be using PTV VISSIM (a software traffic simulator) to create the selected bus route used on campus and analyse the different scenarios, then implementing the numbers of PMDs that will be allocated at selected bus stops location. |
