Blockchain is most commonly known for its usage and application in cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum. Today, there are much different implementations of blockchain technology available, each having their own strength for a specific application domain. This project aims to explore the blockchain technology in mobile applications. Specifically, the mobile data will be stored in a blockchain network to help improve data security and integrity. The software (“Restaurant System”) to transport mobile data between mobile devices and blockchain networks will be developed. The Restaurant System was developed by implementing features that require mobile data to be transported securely and stored on the blockchain network. These features include booking a reservation at a restaurant (Restaurant Reservation System) as well as leaving a review for a restaurant (Restaurant Review System). Finally, after developing the Restaurant System, functional testing was carried out on each of the features to ensure that it performs as required.
