The purpose of this is to further understand the behaviour of batteries in hopes of extending the lifecycle of rechargeable batteries. The discharging circuit design is set up to accommodate to the safety precautions needed to be taken when discharging the battery for its measurements. This paper will elaborate on the coulomb counter method and how to obtain the data in real-time and to co-exist with an app. With rechargeable batteries being highly used for multiple purposes today, this gives more reason to study the behaviour of batteries. Hence, this is what this project aims to do – assist with compiling accurate data of a rechargeable battery and retrieving them conveniently in the palm of your hand.
