description |
This report elaborated on the design and development process of a functional prototype aimed to solve the issue of the increasing number of residential fire and injuries associate to the fire. In the report, design requirements and calculations were covered in the report to justify the design of the prototype.
The prototype designed is a fire extinguisher system that allows automation of the process such that it can extinguish fire autonomously if needed. Equipped with an actuator, the extinguisher lever would be triggered when the signal is sent to the actuator.
Numerous experiments were conducted to test the functionality of the prototype. Through discussion of the experiment result, the prototype was proven to be effective to extinguish fire without the interference of human. |
