| Summary: | With increasing number of people worldwide suffering from cardiovascular diseases, an early detection of the symptoms like rapid heart rate is critical in saving their lives and alert them to seek for medical help early. Although there are many medical and commercial devices readily available for this application, many are selling at high cost. In this project, it is aimed to design a wearable heart rate detection device at low cost for constant heart rate monitoring with alarm feature for alerting wearer of the abnormal measurements. A comparison of the device with a commercial device is done to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the device. |
