Summary: | Respiratory diseases are the biggest threat worldwide and caused tons of death and severe illness. According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), about 65 million have moderate to severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which about 3 million people die each year and the numbers are increasing (The Global Impact of Respiratory Disease, 2019). Monitoring devices have played a part in tracking vital signs and providing critical data and information to the user’s health condition. The purpose of this project is to create an android application that presents data on vital signs in an organised and insightful way. The application will display mock data stored in the database and in the proposed interface that will help users understand their own health condition. The result of this project is the simulation of a user’s experience and user journey and the presentation of data that is critical and beneficial for understanding the health condition of the individual. The visualisation of these data will be further evaluated and validated in the mobile application. The final prototype is able to retrieve data from the simulated database and present the data in the suggested format. |
