This report outlines the story development process for the film ‘Charlie’. Being a narrative driven film, story becomes the core of the film. Thus, most design decisions are made to serve the story of the film. This report explores the key aspects to Charlie Chaplin’ s storytelling in his films by looking into analysis of his films and traditional storytelling techniques. Comparisons are then made to the development of the film and how the lessons learnt were applied to the story of ‘Charlie’.
