Simulation modelling with Python backed by statistical analysis of the data collected in 2016 serves as the basis of this study. Upon validation of the model, modifications were made to appreciate the effects of extending the clinic’s operating hours. With the model, it was found that the clinic should schedule a maximum of three days of overtime weekly on days where it is more likely for more patients to make an appointment. Alternatively, it is also feasible for the clinic to operate for half a day on Saturdays (with and without regular overtime) to reduce patient’s indirect waiting time.
