The first part of the report will talk about the objective and scope of the project, followed by the theory behind the precession motion using standard equation of motion of a body. The next portion will be the designing of the fixture, explaining the reasoning for the design and the different parts of the fixture and its purpose. After that, the report will discuss about the experimental methodology and the results obtained from the experiment. Different experiments were conducted with variation of parameters such as rotational direction, rotational speed of the disc and the wind speed. The last two sections will be the limitation of the project, mainly the fixture and the experimental limitations and the recommendations for potential future work.
