Description
Summary:Evangelism refers to the act of sharing the Christian faith to a non-believer. It is an integral part of Christianity and it’s what Christians are called to do as part of their faith. While it is supposed to come from a place of love, individuals being evangelised to often experience it as intrusive, rude, forced or condescending. Evangelism on the other hand is not the easiest thing for Christians to do as well. This project ‘For Goodness’ sake’ began as a means for the author – a very confused Christian – to dissect and understand what evangelism is supposed to look like. It also acts as a platform to enable Christians to re-evaluate the current practices of evangelism and to rethink how I can be done better. The project will be designed as a workshop programme for churches to critique, educate, encourage and equip Christians so that they are prepared to evangelise more effectively and respectfully.
