It can be divided into several stages or three trimesters. Each trimester has different kinds of symptoms and experiences which could differ among individuals. A statistic released by Singapore government showed that around 15%-25% pregnancies in Singapore ended up in miscarriage [1]. One of possible reasons this issue happened is the lack of information on pregnancy, especially for first-time pregnant women. This project aims to reduce the number of miscarriage and improve maternal health by providing tailored information on pregnancy through a web application. The application has a vast array of features to help pregnant women sail through the nine-months journey smoothly. The application will be developed with a great user experience, considering an array of different users. In addition, the application will be implemented using cutting-edge technologies such as React JS, Node JS and MySQL. Prominent cloud services will be used to deploy the application stack, ensuring the application could serve the users without any significant downtime.
